Cybersafe Scotland is a not-for-profit organisation, based in Aberdeen, working in the St Machar and Northfield areas of the city. You will work on our flagship project "Respected and Safe Online" - which provides support for schools, children, and families. The project is specifically focused on preventing online abuse and harassment while keeping all children and young people safer online.

The Project Support worker will help us by delivering:

-
Comprehensive schools programme including lessons and running pupil small groups and delivering learning sessions for parents and teachers
-
Building relationships with school staff, pupils, parents and families
-
Project planning including developing lessons and materials, running events and other engagement activities
We are a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers who work closely together to develop and deliver this exciting and innovative new project. The Project Worker will be a key member of the team and will be an all-rounder with the focus of heading up our project work within schools in Aberdeen City.

Training and support will be provided to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the current key apps and games, main issues and trends in the online space for young people and areas of concern. Although prior understanding of issues facing young people online is helpful, it is not essential.
