Watching sports is a brilliant way of inspiring kids to get out and get active. Lots of us got involved with Joe Wicks and other fitness channels during Covid lockdown and they are still a brilliant resource for rainy days and getting kids moving at home.

This week we have focussed more on a range of different sports channels that are motivating and inspiring and provide hours of entertainment/tutorials/techniques.

And remember...we have checked these channels to try to ensure they are not only child friendly, however it's always a good idea for parents or guardians to supervise their children's online activities to ensure the content aligns with their values and interests!

Enjoy!

Olympic channel

Maybe an obvious place to start, the Olympic channel is brilliant, full of videos and content, compilations, features and docuseries. And encompassing so many sports it's entertaining and inspiring. Well worth a subscribe.

Dude Perfect

A mix of sports and comedy! The channel started with basketball trick shots but the channel has got huge and has branched out into lots of sketches and pranks and the group do lots of athletic challenges against one another. It’s totally suitable for kids, highly entertaining and although not as strictly focused on sports as some of the others it's got to make it on the list as it’s a fab channel!

Sport is an area where a lot of the official channels have lots of really good content and are well worth a look so make sure to subscribe to all the obvious places, like:

ITV sport

BBC sport
