Child Online Safety Index

Annabel Turner

In the UK, 8-19 year olds in Britain are spending almost two days (44 hours) per week looking at computer, mobile phone and television screens – almost twice the weekly screen time (24 hours) experienced by children the same age in Japan (FOBISIA new research). Are our children using this time on activities online that will help them flourish educationally, mentally and socially and improve their lives? If they're going to be spending long periods of time online how can we make sure that it's time spent to their benefit, that will help them to thrive?

Get in touch for parent and teacher training sessions to get the tools and skills to make sure our children use technology in a positive way and reduce negative impacts.
